DEVELOPMENT PREVIEW · UPDATED 30 OCTOBER 2026
Account privacy.
Despawn is a Digital Natives project. Website email accounts are a development preview and are not connected to desktop streaming sessions. For support, contact dan@digitalnatives.ie.
Information used for your account
When you sign up, your email address, chosen nickname and password are sent securely to Supabase Auth to create and protect your account. Supabase manages password hashing, email confirmation, sign-in and password recovery. Your nickname is a display name, not proof of identity. Despawn does not store plaintext passwords in its source repository or a separate custom password database.
Authentication records can include your account identifier, verification status, timestamps and security or request information needed by the provider. The configured Supabase project is in Frankfurt, Europe. See Supabase’s privacy policy for its processing details.
Verification and password-reset emails
Supabase sends account emails through Resend, using accounts@despawn.digitalnatives.ie. Resend processes the destination email address, message content and delivery information to deliver these emails. It uses the Ireland sending region for this domain. Account emails are for verification and recovery, not a marketing subscription. See Resend’s privacy policy.
Delete your account
Sign in, open Delete account, re-enter your current password and type DELETE to permanently remove your Despawn website account. The protected deletion service verifies your signed-in identity and removes only that account. This action cannot be undone. If you have forgotten your password, use password recovery first.
Account information is retained while your account exists. After deletion, providers may retain limited security logs or backups under their own retention policies. Deleting a website account does not uninstall the desktop app.

This website and your desktop
Website accounts do not currently register a computer or authorize desktop sessions. This website does not receive your screen stream, microphone, desktop clipboard or remote-control input.
Browser storage and hosting
The authentication SDK stores session information in your browser so you can remain signed in. Signing out removes the current local authentication session. Use Sign out on shared computers. GitLab Pages serves the website and may process request information under GitLab’s privacy policy. The site loads the Supabase JavaScript library from jsDelivr, which receives the request information needed to serve that file. This preview does not add advertising or analytics trackers.
